Caesar Salad

A classic Caesar salad with crisp romaine lettuce, crunchy croutons, and a tangy dressing.
Ingredients:
- romaine lettuce - 1 head (1 head)
- garlic clove - 1 clove (1 clove)
- anchovy fillets - 2 fillets (2 fillets)
- lemon juice - 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons)
- Dijon mustard - 5 grams (1 teaspoon)
- Worcestershire sauce - 5 milliliters (1 teaspoon)
- olive oil - 120 milliliters (0.5 cup)
- grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams (0.5 cup)
- croutons - 50 grams (1 cup)
- salt - 1.5 grams (0.25 teaspoon)
- black pepper - 1 gram (0.25 teaspoon)
Instructions:
- Tear romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.
- In a blender, blend garlic, anchovies, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Gradually add olive oil while blending until emulsified.
- Pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss to coat.
- Add Parmesan cheese, croutons, salt, and pepper, and toss again.
- Serve immediately.
Notes:
You can add grilled chicken or shrimp to make it a main course salad.
