Caprese Salad

A classic Italian salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.
Ingredients:
- fresh mozzarella - 225 grams (8 ounces)
- ripe tomatoes - 2 large (2 large)
- fresh basil leaves - 25 grams (1 cup)
- extra-virgin olive oil - 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons)
- balsamic vinegar - 15 milliliters (1 tablespoon)
- salt - 1.5 grams (0.25 teaspoon)
- black pepper - 1 gram (0.25 teaspoon)
Instructions:
- Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- Arrange the mozzarella and tomato slices on a serving platter, alternating between them.
- Tuck the basil leaves between the mozzarella and tomato slices.
- Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
