Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- all-purpose flour - 270 grams (2.25 cups)
- baking soda - 5 grams (1 teaspoon)
- salt - 5 grams (1 teaspoon)
- unsalted butter - 225 grams (1 cup)
- granulated sugar - 150 grams (0.75 cup)
- brown sugar - 150 grams (0.75 cup)
- vanilla extract - 5 milliliters (1 teaspoon)
- large eggs - 2 eggs (2 eggs)
- semisweet chocolate chips - 340 grams (2 cups)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes:
For a softer cookie, bake for a shorter time. For a crispier cookie, bake for a bit longer.
