A refreshing and healthy salad with Mediterranean flavors.

Ingredients:

  • romaine lettuce, chopped - 400 grams (4 cups)
  • cherry tomatoes, halved - 200 grams (1 cup)
  • cucumber, sliced - 1 cucumber (1 cucumber)
  • red onion, thinly sliced - 0.5 onion (0.5 onion)
  • Kalamata olives - 60 grams (0.5 cup)
  • feta cheese, crumbled - 60 grams (0.5 cup)
  • extra-virgin olive oil - 60 milliliters (0.25 cup)
  • red wine vinegar - 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons)
  • dried oregano - 2 grams (1 teaspoon)
  • salt - 2.5 grams (0.5 teaspoon)
  • black pepper - 1 gram (0.25 teaspoon)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes:

For added protein, you can include grilled chicken or chickpeas.
