Spaghetti Bolognese

A classic Italian pasta dish with a rich and meaty tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
- spaghetti - 400 grams (14 ounces)
- ground beef - 500 grams (1.1 pounds)
- onion - 1 medium (1 medium)
- garlic cloves - 2 cloves (2 cloves)
- canned crushed tomatoes - 400 grams (14 ounces)
- tomato paste - 30 grams (2 tablespoons)
- beef broth - 240 milliliters (1 cup)
- dried oregano - 2.5 grams (1 teaspoon)
- salt - 5 grams (1 teaspoon)
- black pepper - 1.5 grams (0.5 teaspoon)
- grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams (0.5 cup)
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the sauce for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the bolognese sauce over cooked spaghetti.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes:
You can also add vegetables like carrots and celery to the sauce for extra flavor.
