How To - AI Image Identifier
Welcome to the AI Image Identifier tutorial. This page will guide you through the process of taking the test, understanding the results, and learning more about how AI-generated images can be distinguished from real photographs.
Introduction
The AI Image Identifier test is designed to see how well people can identify AI-generated images from those taken using a camera or smartphone in the real world. Each test session consists of up to 10 pairs of images, where one is real and the other is AI-generated.
Steps to Take the Test
- Start the test by clicking the "Start Test" button on the home page.
- You will be presented with a pair of images labeled "Image A" and "Image B".
- Your task is to identify which image is AI-generated by clicking on the image you believe is AI-generated.
- After selecting an image, the next pair of images will be displayed.
- Continue this process until you have completed all 10 pairs.
- After the test, your results will be displayed, showing how many images you correctly identified as AI-generated.
Interpreting the Results
At the end of the test, you will see a summary of your performance. The results will display the number of AI images you correctly identified out of the total number of pairs presented. This helps you understand how well you can distinguish between AI-generated and real images.
Tips for Identifying AI-Generated Images
- Look for unusual textures or patterns that seem unnatural.
- Pay attention to details that might be inconsistent, such as strange reflections, shadows, or backgrounds.
- AI-generated images sometimes have anomalies, such as distorted facial features or unnatural body proportions.
